Last night, Harper’s BAZAAR cover star Cardi B became the primary solo female artist to win a Grammy within the Best Rap Album category for her project Invasion Of Privacy.
Perhaps as a part of the celebration, Cardi B’s husband, Offset (of the rap super trio Migos) took to Instagram to tease never-before-seen footage of events leading up to the birth of their daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, last summer. within the post, viewers see Offset laying down music within the studio, video chatting during a car, working on stage to an outsized audience, then the video quickly cuts to the hospital on July 10, 2018.
Offset stands on Cardi’s left side and watches his wife, who is visibly and audibly in some major labor pains, give birth to their daughter. After Cardi screams, the teaser video zooms in on Offset (who looks visibly concerned) and transitions to a pink background that simply states “2-22-19,” which is that the release date of Migos’ forthcoming album Culture III and documentary
Cardi B and Offset, secretly married in September 2017, months before the “Bodak Yellow” rapper confirmed her pregnancy in April 2018. In December, the couple seemed to undergo a rough patch and Cardi said she and therefore the Migos member is “not together anymore.” However, that seems to possess changed as of last night, when she brought Offset to the Grammys and called him her husband onstage.

Cardi was so overwhelmed by her win at the Grammys last night that she told her man that she couldn’t breathe. “Oh my goodness, um, listen, I’m sorry, I just, wooo, the nerves are so bad. Maybe I want to start out the smoking weed,” she joked to the gang.
She began to thank those closest to her, including her daughter Kulture. “I’m not just saying many thanks because she’s my daughter… We were like, we’ve to urge this album done so I could shoot these videos while I’m still not showing and it had been very long nights.”
She also thanked her internal control label mates, the Migos, and specifically Offset, when she said: “You, husband, thank you. Nah, seriously, cause he was like, you are going to try to to this album, girl. We’re gonna have this baby, and we’re gonna make this album. And many thanks such a lot, everybody.”
Cardi B said then, “Hey y’all, what’s popping? So I just wanted to form this a touch clear and everything. Broccoli Fest is going to be my last performance for a touch while and everything. Because you recognize shorty keeps growing! and that I will be looking like I will be moving and everything, but really? A bitch can’t breathe! I would like to thank y’all for understanding … I can barely breathe immediately .”
Just each day before parturition to Kulture, Cardi tweeted about how she was basically able to give birth, saying, “Last night was the worst night ever 😪😪😓This last month of pregnancy is hell 😰.” Also on July 9, she squelched rumors that she was within the hospital already, tweeting, “I’m reception watching IT.” (Does intense fear induce labor?)
